Vacation Trip 1999 to Ozark Highlands Trail in Arkansas

The McKeel's toured the Ozark Highlands Trail and the Buffalo River National River and Trail in August of 1999. The map lists in brown rectangles with yellow numbers places we visited and took 35mm photographs and video footage which will be added to the website during the next few months.

1. Lake Fort Smith State Park, Hwy 71, OHT Trailhead and dam crossing
2. OHT,Evans Point Loop trail, first 3.2 miles
3. Shores Lake Campground, trail head to White Rock Mtn on OHT
4. OHT, Cherry Bend trailhead
5. Redding Campground, Mulberry River, loop trail to OHT
6. OHT, Ozone Campground
7. OHT, Fairview Campground
8. Buffalo National River, OHT/BRT at Woolum foot crossing (no ferry!)
9. Woolum, place where OHT joins the Buffalo National River Trail
