OZARK TRAIL IN MISSOURI


Overview: The Marble Creek section is 8.0 miles long (eventually will be 21 miles) and lies within the U.S. Forest Service's Fredericktown Ranger District. It connects the Taum Sauk section (06) to its west and the Lake Wappapello section (08) of the eastern limb of OZT in the Fredericktown Ranger district to its south. The current northwestern access point is at Crane Lake, the middle (currently the end) portion trailhead is at Marble Creek, and the eventual eastern trailhead at Sam A. Baker S.P. This is a foot trail only.

Directions
The western trailhead can be accessed at Crane Lake. The eastern trailhead at Marble Creek is on state hwy E. The closest towns are Chloride, Sabula and Hogan on hwy 49 where this section will eventually connect.
