OZARK TRAIL IN MISSOURI

Overview: This 26.5 mile section of OZT extending from the southern boundary of section 10 (Karkaghne) to the northern boundary of the Current River Section 12. Blair Creek lies within the mid portion of the western division of the OZT loop. It encompasses part of the Ozark National Scenic Riverways administered by the National Park Service. Subsections of Blair Creek include Greer Crossing and McCormack Lake. Nine miles are within the Salem Ranger District. The section's north trail head is on Hwy 72 and the OZT winds south to bluffs 1 mile from the southern section terminus at Owl's Bend campground on the Current River.
